Dein Leuchturm ist eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung wo man mal so richtig entspannen kann.
Ich werde dich weiter empfehlen weil Yukatan immer wieder eine Reise wert ist.
Für meine Frau und Mich war es wirklich ein schöner Urlaub!
Mit eurem roten Vw Käfer durch das Land zu Reisen ist alleine schon ein Abenteuer für sich.
Wer in Mexico durch das Land fährt der wird natürlich keine Europäischen verhälltnisse vorfinden wer das nicht aktzeptieren
kann oder will der solle lieber zu Hause in der warmen Stube bleiben.
Ein schöneres Reisen ist natürlich wenn man der Spanischen spache mächtig ist.
Aber auch ohne diese Spachkenntisse kommt man gefahrenlos durch ganz Yukatan.
Die Mexicaner haben sich immer als Hilfsbereit erwiesen.
Das Geld für einen Reiseführer ist gut angelegt. Da man sonst an vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten vorbeifahren würde.
Trotzdem muss man schon ein besonderer Typ von Urlauber sein( kein all Inclusive Urlauber).
An sonsten hat man bestimmt keine Freude dran.
Ein bisschen Abenteuerlust, Entdenkungsfreue und keine Berührungsängste mit den Einwohnern gehört dazu!

We have been to El Cuyo twice now, and we will return.
We like the fact that El Cuyo is off the beaten track and away from the Tourists – which is why we enjoy it – so for us that is a big positive.
The house is very comfortable and furnished with everything we needed. I like to cook so we brought some groceries from Cancun.
The Kitchen was well equipped.
The German Owner Mattias was very helpful in giving us all of the information we needed before we arrived.
We went to El Cuyo to relax, get away and just enjoy some quality time with the family.
Every morning we walked the beach, while watching all the fishing boats head out for the day. In the afternoon we enjoyed watching them return and even went to the docks to check out the catch of the day.
They fish a lot of octopus, but the fresh fish and lobster is what we enjoy.
We were lucky to see some flamingos on our way into to the town of El Cuyo….also, great sunsets over the Ocean and the Lagoon!
El Cuyo is close enough to Cancun to make this a combination stay – we live in the Yucatan so for us it was more a break from the daily routine.
We plan to go back again this year, we have a foreign exchange student with us and we feel that it will also be educational, being her to El Cuyo, the authentic Yucatan and the REAL Mexico.
Wir haben in der Villa Maya de Cancun fast 6 Wochen verbracht u.a. auch Weihnachten und den Jahreswechsel, es war wunderschön.
Die Villa liegt in einem sehr schönen Vorort von Cancun und ist komplett eingerichtet, man hat alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und eine schnelle Busverbindung bringt uns in das Touristenzentrum wo dann die Post abgeht, sofern man es wünscht.
Mattias und Familie sind liebenswerte Gastgeber waren bei Problemen jederzeit für uns da. Matthias hat uns auch die Umgebung gezeigt und uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden.
Für einen Urlaub in Cancun kann ich dieses Domizil und mit den beiden Gastgebern Matthias und Gemima nur empfehlen, man Bestens aufgehoben.
We are so glad we have chosen Hacienda Villa del Cuyo over the other rentals in your Area. After getting there we would have been dissapointed renting anywhere else in the town..( exept for the Lighthouse Villa del Faro) since that is yours, too!! It was like you discribed….home is wonderful, congratulations, you have done a great job there.
Your caretakers where sweet as well, prepared exellents meals, they took us out on a fishing trip, the locals were extremely friendly, had fun collecting seashells, driving around with the Golfcarts,….and finally we got to read books again!!
And all that for a very reasonable price away from the Tourists….thanks again…we will promote your place!!
